Semaglutide Reconstitution Calculator

Semaglutide is the most-studied GLP-1 receptor agonist. Research-grade Semaglutide ships lyophilized and is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water. Because the titration schedule starts at very small weekly doses (0.25 mg), precise concentration math is essential.

Peptide Reconstitution Calculator

Enter your vial size and bacteriostatic water volume. The calculator outputs the resulting concentration per mL and per insulin syringe unit. For procedural reference only.

Reading the result: If you have a 5mg vial reconstituted with 2mL of BAC water, your concentration is 2,500 mcg/mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe, that's 25 mcg per IU mark.

Semaglutide concentration reference

Pre-computed concentrations for common Semaglutide vial sizes (3 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg) across 1–3 mL of bacteriostatic water. All values assume a U-100 insulin syringe.

  • Dosing range: Titration: 0.25 mg/wk weeks 1–4, escalating to 2.4 mg/wk maintenance (published manufacturer titration)
  • Administration: Subcutaneous, once weekly
  • Storage: Refrigerate after reconstitution; manufacturer guidance is 28 days post-reconstitution.

How the math works

Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mass (mg) × 1000 ÷ bacteriostatic water volume (mL). For a 3 mg Semaglutide vial reconstituted with 1 mL, that is 3,000 mcg/mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe (100 IU marks per mL), each IU mark holds 30 mcg.
