BPC-157 Reconstitution Calculator

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide fragment studied for tissue-repair research. It ships lyophilized (freeze-dried) and must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use. The math below determines exactly how much peptide is in each insulin-syringe unit.

Reading the result: If you have a 5mg vial reconstituted with 2mL of BAC water, your concentration is 2,500 mcg/mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe, that's 25 mcg per IU mark.

  • Dosing range: 200–500 mcg, 1–2× daily (published research literature range)
  • Administration: Subcutaneous
  • Storage: Temperature-sensitive. Refrigerate after reconstitution; most research protocols use within 30 days.

How the math works

Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mass (mg) × 1000 ÷ bacteriostatic water volume (mL). For a 5 mg BPC-157 vial reconstituted with 2 mL, that is 2,500 mcg/mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe (100 IU marks per mL), each IU mark holds 25 mcg.
