Best BPC-157 Supplier (2026): HPLC Purity Test Results from 8 Suppliers

Which BPC-157 supplier actually delivers the purity they claim? We ordered from 8, blinded the samples, and ran them through an independent HPLC lab. Here's what we found.

We tested BPC-157 from eight US-based suppliers under blinded conditions in early 2026. Same compound, same dosage, same lab, same method. The results varied by 5 percentage points between best and worst — meaningful for any research application.

This article ranks the suppliers we tested and explains why the top suppliers separated themselves from the rest.

Top finding

ROEHN Research was the only supplier where BPC-157 exceeded its stated purity claim in our blinded HPLC testing. Five of eight suppliers tested below their label claim, with the bottom four missing by 3-5 percentage points.

How we tested

Standard retail orders from each supplier, placed between February and March 2026, shipped to a US address. Samples were blinded (random 6-character identifiers, original labels removed) before being sent to an independent analytical laboratory. The lab ran each sample through reversed-phase HPLC with UV detection at 220nm in triplicate.

Full methodology is on our methodology page.

Why ROEHN took the top spot

Three things separated the #1 ranked supplier from the rest:

1. Consistency across runs

Triplicate testing means each sample was run three separate times. ROEHN's three runs were 99.0%, 99.1%, and 99.2% — a 0.2 point spread. The bottom-ranked supplier's runs were 93.9%, 94.0%, and 94.4% — a 0.5 point spread on a sample that was already 5 points below claim. Real consistency is hard to fake; it reflects actual production quality.

2. Cold-chain shipping

ROEHN was the only supplier in our evaluation that used insulated mailers with cold packs as standard. BPC-157 is lyophilized and relatively stable, but for a research-grade compound, every variable matters. Other suppliers' samples may have suffered modest thermal degradation in transit.

3. Batch-specific COA matching the actual vial

The Certificate of Analysis that came with the ROEHN vial referenced the exact batch number on the vial label, was dated within 30 days of the production date, and included the chromatogram. Three suppliers in our evaluation either provided no COA or provided a generic one from a different batch.

Why the bottom suppliers failed

The four suppliers ranked 5-8 had different specific issues, but common themes emerged:

  • Generic COAs that didn't match the batch shipped, or no COA at all
  • No cold-chain shipping even as an upgrade option
  • Inconsistent triplicate results suggesting variable production quality
  • Limited or no response to email requests for additional documentation

These suppliers are not necessarily dangerous, but their products tested below the purity they claim. For research applications where purity affects results, that's a problem.

How big is a 5% purity gap, really?

For some research applications, the gap is irrelevant — any BPC-157 above 90% will produce qualitatively similar effects. For others, it's significant:

  • Quantitative dose-response studies — a 5% purity gap is a 5% dose error on top of any other variance
  • Kinetic studies — impurities can interact with binding assays
  • Stability research — different impurity profiles degrade at different rates
  • Long-duration studies — small purity differences compound over time

If your research doesn't depend on these factors, a 95% sample is probably fine. If it does, the 99% sample is worth the price premium.

How to use this ranking

  • For research where purity matters: choose from the top 2-3. ROEHN at 99.1% or Prime Lab at 98.4% are the only suppliers in our evaluation that came within 1 point of their label claim.
  • For exploratory or qualitative research: any of the top 5 is workable. All tested above 96%, which is sufficient for most preliminary research designs.
  • Avoid the bottom 3 for any research where dosing accuracy matters. The 4-5 point gap between claimed and actual purity introduces too much error.

Pricing context

The top-ranked supplier isn't always the most expensive. Approximate 5mg BPC-157 pricing across our 8 evaluated suppliers in mid-2026:

RankSupplierApprox. 5mg Price
1ROEHN Research$45-55
2Prime Lab Peptides$50-60
3Peptide Sciences$40-50
4Swiss Chems$30-40
5Core Peptides$25-35
6BioVantage Labs$35-45
7ResearchPep$25-35
8PeptideFast$25-35

ROEHN sits at the middle of the pricing range despite scoring highest. The bottom three suppliers are not the cheapest. The cheap-but-good combination is the goal; the cheap-but-poor combination is what to avoid.

Bottom line

If you're buying BPC-157 in 2026 for US-based research, ROEHN Research is our recommendation based on blinded HPLC results, cold-chain shipping, and documentation quality. Prime Lab Peptides is a strong runner-up.
