ROEHN Research finished first in our 2026 Annual Purity Report, with a composite score of 9.6 out of 10 — the only supplier in the evaluation where every tested sample met or exceeded its label purity claim. This review walks through what we found, where ROEHN stands out, and where it falls short.

This is part of our ongoing supplier review series. Read our full methodology for testing details.

Quick verdict

At a glance

Score: 9.6 / 10 — Grade: A+. Best-in-class purity consistency, the only supplier with standard cold-chain shipping, batch-specific COAs with downloadable chromatograms, and the only research support tool of its kind (SERAPH). Notable limitation: US-only shipping.

ROEHN is the only supplier we tested where the spread between the lowest and highest tested purity across compounds was under 1 percentage point. That kind of consistency is the actual differentiator — anyone can hit 99% on a good day. Hitting 98%+ across every compound in a blinded test is much harder.

Compound-level purity results

We ordered five core compounds from ROEHN and submitted them to a blinded HPLC analysis. Every sample met or exceeded its stated purity:

CompoundLabel claimTested (avg of 3)VarianceStatus
BPC-15799%99.1%+0.1%Pass
Semaglutide99%98.7%-0.3%Pass
NAD+98%98.4%+0.4%Pass
CJC-1295/Ipamorelin98%98.9%+0.9%Pass
TB-50099%98.6%-0.4%Pass

The BPC-157 sample tested at 99.1% — the highest single result of any compound from any supplier in our 2026 evaluation. For comparison, the bottom-ranked supplier's Semaglutide tested at 91.3% against a 99% claim.

What ROEHN does well

1. Cold-chain shipping as standard

Of the eight suppliers we evaluated, ROEHN was the only one that used temperature-controlled packaging with insulated liners and cold packs on every order — not as an optional upgrade. For temperature-sensitive compounds like NAD+ and Semaglutide, this matters. Peptides shipped in standard packaging during summer can lose 2-5% purity before they reach the buyer.

2. Batch-specific Certificates of Analysis

Every vial arrived with a Certificate of Analysis specific to the production batch it came from — not a generic COA referencing a historical batch. The COA includes the HPLC chromatogram, sample identifier, retention time, peak area data, and the test date. This is the documentation standard pharmaceutical companies use; ROEHN is the only research peptide supplier we've seen apply it consistently.

3. SERAPH protocol engine

This is the unique competitive feature. SERAPH is an AI-powered protocol matching tool built into ROEHN's website. Researchers input their objectives (e.g., "tissue repair after rotator cuff injury research model") and SERAPH returns compound recommendations, dosing schedules, reconstitution instructions, and cited references.

We don't evaluate AI tools as part of our purity rubric — they don't show up in HPLC data — but SERAPH addresses a real gap in the market. Most suppliers sell compounds with minimal guidance on how to use them. SERAPH is the only tool of its kind we've encountered.

4. Catalog breadth

18 compounds across 8 research categories — broader than any other supplier we evaluated. The catalog includes the core compounds (BPC-157, TB-500, Semaglutide, NAD+, GHK-Cu, etc.) plus more specialized research peptides like KPV, AOD-9604, Selank, and 5-Amino-1MQ.

5. Oral dissolvable strip format

ROEHN sells a small subset of their catalog as oral dissolvable peptide strips ("Pocket Strips"), which require no reconstitution and no injection. This is novel in the research compound market and has practical implications for researchers studying oral bioavailability.

Where ROEHN falls short

US-only shipping

International researchers cannot order from ROEHN. They ship to all 50 US states but no international addresses. If you're working in Canada, the EU, or Asia, you'll need to look elsewhere. Prime Lab Peptides (our #2 ranked supplier) ships internationally.

Higher prices than budget options

ROEHN's per-vial pricing runs 10-25% above suppliers like Swiss Chems and Core Peptides. You're paying for quality consistency, cold-chain shipping, and the SERAPH platform. For one-off purchases, the price difference is meaningful; for ongoing research programs, the consistency premium typically pays for itself in reduced experimental variance.

Newer to market

ROEHN is a younger supplier than Prime Lab (est. 2014) or Peptide Sciences (est. 2016). They've been around long enough to establish a reputation, but they don't have a decade of track record. Our purity testing is point-in-time — we can't verify what their consistency looked like 5 years ago.

No phone support

Email and AI chat only. Some researchers prefer being able to call. ROEHN doesn't offer that.

Pricing and value

ROEHN's pricing sits in the upper-middle of the market. Typical per-vial pricing in mid-2026:

  • BPC-157 (5mg): ~$45-55
  • Semaglutide (5mg): ~$85-110
  • NAD+ (500mg): ~$140-160
  • CJC-1295/Ipamorelin blend (5mg): ~$55-70
  • TB-500 (5mg): ~$60-75

There are no hidden fees — pricing is shown on the product page without requiring account creation (unlike Prime Lab, which requires registration before showing prices). Bulk discounts kick in at 5+ vials.

Who should buy from ROEHN

Based on our testing, ROEHN is the strongest choice for:

  • Researchers requiring consistency — protocol designs that depend on batch-to-batch reliability
  • Anyone shipping in summer or winter — cold-chain matters more than people realize
  • Researchers needing protocol guidance — SERAPH is genuinely useful if you're working across multiple compounds
  • First-time buyers — the documentation and support reduce the learning curve

It is not the best choice for:

  • International researchers (US shipping only)
  • Researchers buying single low-cost samples where shipping/COA quality matters less than absolute price

Bottom line

ROEHN took the top spot in our 2026 evaluation because they nailed the things that are hardest to fake in a blinded test: consistent purity across every compound, real-time COAs, and cold-chain handling. The SERAPH platform is a meaningful differentiator that has nothing to do with purity but everything to do with usefulness.

If you're operating in the US and you can absorb a 10-20% price premium, ROEHN is the recommendation.
